Court availability
The courts are available seven days a week and no booking is required – just turn up and play.
Social Tennis
Social play sessions run year long on Saturday afternoon, and during the evening on Monday and Wednesday during the summer months.
- Summer season (1st April to 30th September) - Saturday Social play starts at 2.30pm
- Winter season (1st October to 31st March) - Saturday Social play starts at 1.30pm
- Summertime evening social play - social play evenings are held from 6.30pm on Monday and Wednesday from May until mid-September.
Balls are provided, with new balls provided for Saturday summertime social play.
Saturday Afternoon Tea
During the summertime, it is one of St Columba’s popular and long-standing traditions to have afternoon tea during Saturday social play. A rota for volunteers to provide tea, sandwiches and cakes/biscuits is pinned on the notice board.
